Nandong Art Valley, also known as Sun Valley, is a national drama base, an internship base for art colleges across the country, an educational experience base for primary and secondary schools, and a leisure and health preservation base for the elderly. If you cannot find it, ask the locals for ‘the place with the train,’ and most of them will know.
Nandong Art Valley is composed of three adjacent villages: Huangsha, Lichen, and Nandong. The scenic spot’s calling card is the nostalgic green train mentioned above and the local residential buildings known as ‘wall paintings.’ It is named ‘Art Valley.’ Sun Valley is divided into twelve parts: Artistic Landscape Garden, Residential Inns, Fisherman’s Wharf, Pirate City, Wooden Fishing Boat Exhibition Hall, Merit Train Park, Fun Agricultural Area, International Mural Village, Ming and Qing Old Street, Art Center, and Ming and Qing Folklore Village. It will be developed into a leisure and vacation destination integrating scientific experiments, college student internships, sightseeing, and shopping.
