Located just 1 kilometer west of Zhuge Bagua Village is Chang Le Fudi, a village that served as the cradle of victory for Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang, the founder of the Ming Dynasty. With a history spanning over 600 years, the village boasts 127 well-preserved Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasty residential buildings. Strolling through the ancient town, one is greeted by the sight of grey bricks and black tiles, as well as mottled and intricate house walls and courtyards. A series of deep and narrow alleys lead visitors into the heart of the ancient village, where one can leisurely appreciate the unique simplicity and tranquility that comes from historical sedimentation.

Among the many ancient buildings in Chang Le Fudi, those built in memory of Jin Lixiang stand out, such as the Jin Da Zong Temple, Xiang Xian Hall, and the upper floor hall, all of which are rich in character. Constructed in the 33rd year of the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty, the Jin Da Zong Temple is the family temple of the Jin clan in Chang Le Village, holding a high status and featuring a meticulously designed architecture with an overall layout in the shape of a Chinese character ‘回’. The Wang Yun Tower, built during the Zhizheng period of the Yuan Dynasty, is a typical example of Yuan Dynasty upper floor hall architecture and is known as the ‘Golden House of the South of the Yangtze River’. Additionally, the archways and screens are highlights of the ancient architecture in Chang Le, including the Jinshi Archway from the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty, the Jie Xiao Stone Archway built in the eighth year of the Yongzheng era (1730), and the screen wall from the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty, all lined up in front of the Xiang Xian Street and the ‘Ri’ shaped pond, exuding an ancient charm.
