The Tiejing Well was originally located in the west of Chun’an County, Hangzhou City. It was dug by Wang Chang, a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations in the Shaosheng period of the Song Dynasty. The well ring is fifteen feet in circumference. The water is extremely clear and cool.
