Qinglong Grand Waterfall is located upstream of the Jiuqu Stream in Wuyishan. The surrounding forest is very dense, and the forest communities are nearly pristine, making the air exceptionally fresh. Subtropical species can be found here, and there are over 100 rare ornamental tree species labeled along the canyon trails, offering visitors the chance to see many rare tree species that are not commonly seen.
The main attraction is the waterfall itself. Qinglong Grand Waterfall is composed of three major cascades, with a large waterfall resembling a dragon roaring out from the valley on the cliff, presenting a grand and spectacular view. It is over 200 meters long, with a drop of more than 120 meters and a width of more than 40 meters at its broadest, forming a stepped structure. The water cascades down, pouring into the deep valley, truly allowing one to feel the irresistible charm of nature.

Upon arrival, one must cross a small bridge, which is also a scenic spot known as the ‘One-Step Bridge’ due to its short length, allowing one to step across in just one stride, marking the entrance to the Qinglong Grand Waterfall scenic area. Other scenic spots include Shiru Qinggang, Ling She Lian Shi, Qingxi Wang Shui, Luan Shi Lin Bo, Tong Tian Qiao, Cui Yu Meng Long, and Shi Ba Zhong Shan, all referring to various natural phenomena here. The tree on the rock is called Qinggang, and Ling She Lian Shi refers to the winding tree roots that coil around the rocks like snakes. Tong Tian Qiao is a bridge before entering the rock community. After crossing the bridge, one enters the pristine forest area, where one can see rock plant communities and vine plant communities. Cui Yu Meng Long refers to the pools formed in the gentle sections of the stream under the waterfall, with emerald green waters resembling natural jade. The Qinglong Grand Waterfall is backed by a series of high mountains, known as Shi Ba Zhong Shan. The main purpose of visiting here is to get away from the crowd, view the waterfall, get close to nature, climb mountains, and breathe fresh air.

The entire area is open from 01/01 to 12/31 from 09:00 to 16:00. Transportation within the park is included in the ticket price. Address: 50 meters in front of the ticket gate. A must-see tip is that it is close to the first drift in East China. Qinglong Grand Waterfall is the source of the first drift, so if it’s summer, one can combine a visit to the East China First Drift.
