Guling Street in Lushan is the heart of the Lushan scenic area, standing at an altitude of 1100 meters, truly a street in the sky. Surrounded by mountains on three sides and a valley on one, to the east lies the Great Moon Mountain, to the west stands the Great Forest Mountain. To the south is the Gniu Ridge, and to the north is the Scissor Gorge opening. The street forms a semi-circular feature from east to west, creating the characteristic of a half-street.
Standing in the central park, one can overlook the ancient city of Jiujiang and the jade ribbon of the Yangtze River, making it an ideal place for leisure, entertainment, and relaxation, and it is often the first destination for tourists visiting Lushan. Guling Street is lined with shops, including post offices, banks, cinemas, and auditoriums. There are also Lushan Hotel, Cloud Hotel, and Lu Lin Restaurant, which accommodate international and domestic tourists, with a total of more than 30 hotels, guesthouses, and rest homes, and over 1400 western-style villas, providing more than 13,000 beds for tourists, among which there are 380 beds that alone accommodated 2.2 million domestic and foreign visitors in 1983.

Generally, tourists to Lushan first arrive at Guling Street, where they can arrange their accommodation and choose their travel routes from here. It serves as a starting point for sightseeing, preparing for the upcoming tour and resolving the concerns of food and lodging. The street is open all year round, 24 hours a day.
