Dreaming of Longhu Mountain is a large-scale live performance meticulously crafted over two years with an investment of 300 million yuan, set against the historical and cultural backdrop of Longhu Mountain in Yingtan, Jiangxi, a World Natural Heritage site, a World Geopark, and a national 5A-level scenic spot. This performance is jointly created by the renowned media personality, Ms. Yang Lan from Sun Media Group, and the Longhu Mountain Tourism Group.
Dreaming of Longhu Mountain features one of the largest environmental art lighting projects in China, incorporating a plethora of high-tech technologies such as 3D without glasses, seamlessly integrating water, sound, light, and electricity with the beautiful scenery of Longhu Mountain’s Dan Mountain and green waters, showcasing the unique charm of a fairyland and a thousand-year-old Daoist capital.
As the first-of-its-kind ‘progressive’ boat viewing live performance in China, Dreaming of Longhu Mountain is divided into three chapters, each with a dedicated venue capable of hosting a grand live performance. The ‘progressive’ method of the performance creates an immersive viewing experience, allowing visitors to engage as participants rather than mere spectators throughout the show. In addition to the immersive walking experience of the fairyland, there is also the option to take a boat along the Luxi River to admire the beautiful scenery of Longhu Mountain.
When the performance officially begins, the performance team will project 3D images without glasses onto the naturally gifted cliffs along the Luxi River. Amidst the interplay of light and shadow, the traces of dragons and tigers appear and disappear, with hundreds of boats descending, immortals dressed in splendid attire standing aloof from the world, creating myriad transformations of mythical birds singing and colorful clouds flying, leaving the audience dazzled, unable to distinguish between reality and illusion, and marveling at the beauty.
The performance is open from January 1st to October 18th, from 19:30 to 20:40; from October 20th to December 31st, from 19:30 to 20:40; on October 19th, from 19:00 to 20:10. The first show starts at 19:30, the second at 20:30, and the third at 21:30. Specific times are subject to real-time notifications from the scenic area. Note: The performance is sold in the order of the first show, and subsequent shows will only be available for sale if the first show is sold out.
