Jie Kong Temple

Located in the northeast of Qiu Town, Jie Kong Zen Temple is a historically significant and sizable monastery. Originally constructed in the first year of Changxing during the Tang Dynasty (AD 930), the temple has a history of over 1080 years.

Several main halls within the temple are made entirely of wooden structures, exuding a grand and imposing presence. The main hall of Jie Kong Temple is distinctive, with a side hall on each side connected to the main hall. This layout not only conserves land but also maintains a solemn and lawful atmosphere, showcasing the designer’s skill and expertise.
