Waipu Mountain boasts a tranquil natural environment with a humid climate, warm winters, and cool summers, making it a pleasant destination all year round.

The unique marine erosion landforms, such as sea channels, add a distinctive charm to the mountain.
Particularly in the south, the area has been shaped by centuries of wave erosion, creating many splendid natural landscapes, including steep marine cliffs that inspire awe when viewed from above.
The mountain also features the Wentao Pavilion, which commemorates Master Hongyi, and the Xiao Putuo Zen Temple, where a statue of Guanyin has been brought from Japan and the four famous Buddhist mountains.
The site is open all year round from 08:30 to 17:00.
