Shouchang Park is located in the northwest of Zhenhai urban area and at the northern end of Congyuan Road. It was completed in 1992 and covers an area of 12.6 hectares. The buildings in the park are in the style of Suzhou gardens, with pavilions, terraces, and towers, exuding an antique charm. The small bridges and flowing water create a serene and elegant atmosphere. The park is named after Chen Shouchang, a revolutionary martyr from Zhenhai. Inside the park, there is the Chen Shouchang Martyr Memorial Hall, monument, and a bust bronze statue of Chen Shouchang. On the north and south sides, there are also buildings such as the Zhenhai Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Room and the Zhenhai District ‘Double Support’ Achievement Exhibition Hall. The memorial hall is connected by antique corridors on all sides. The white walls are inlaid with various hollow patterns, presenting an elegant and solemn look. There are also buildings such as Shouchang Pavilion, stone arch bridge, hexagonal pavilion, and fish ponds. The fish ponds are surrounded by lake stones of various shapes. The green grass and weeping willows create a unique charm.
