Shi She Basalt features more than 10 volcanic rock columnar joint landscapes, which were formed in the early Tertiary or Quaternary period. This is one of the largest and most well-preserved columnar joint groups discovered in China in recent years, holding significant scientific value for the study of volcanic magma generation and geological structures.
It is open to the public all year round, with full-day accessibility.
