Starting 5 kilometers west of Xinchang County, passing by the teapot-shaped landmark, turn left into Yuan Ao Village to reach Qian Xi. The stream disappears beneath the piled stones and surges through the crevices, with a beach of huge rocks and cliffs on both sides, where the sound of the stream resounds loudly.

Scattered along the banks are numerous scenic spots, creating a fantastic realm that integrates peaks, valleys, caves, and waterfalls, all naturally wild and charming. On the road between the ‘Jade Rabbit Rock’ and the ‘Turtles Emerging from the Sea’ rocks, one side is a mountainous rock forest. Within this forest, there is a massive boulder weighing tens of thousands of tons, resembling a ‘Lion Opening its Mouth’. Standing beneath this Lion Rock, one can clearly hear the sound of the tide, but as soon as one leaves the ground, the sound ceases, which is quite astonishing. Therefore, the flat rock wall beneath the Lion Rock is named ‘Tide Sound Wall’.

Above the Lion Rock, a peculiar rock shaped like a civet is known as ‘Civet Anchor Listening to Sounds’. On the cliffs along the banks of Qian Xi, amidst the dense pine forest, there is a huge stone pillar that soars into the sky like a jade pillar, called ‘Heavenly Candle among Ten Thousand Pines’. The scenic area is open all year round from 8:00 to 18:00.
