Shaoxing Science and Technology Museum

The Shaoxing Science and Technology Museum is located in the core area of the Mirror Lake New District in Shaoxing City, on the south side of the administrative center (Yangtze West Road). The museum’s functional design is divided into a northern and southern area. The northern area is designated as a children’s playground and cinema area, while the southern area houses temporary exhibitions, permanent exhibitions, academic exchanges, and administrative offices.

The museum is open to the public from Wednesday to Sunday from 9:15 AM to 4:30 PM, and it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. On public holidays, special notices will be issued.

Preferential policies apply to certain groups: Children: those with a height between 1.0 meters (inclusive) and 1.5 meters (exclusive); Elderly: individuals aged 60 years old (inclusive) and above; Students: (college students (vocational, junior college, undergraduate, and equivalent) / high school students (general high school, vocational and technical secondary school, and equivalent) / students in compulsory education) must present a student ID; Active military personnel and people with disabilities must bring their ID card/military ID/disability certificate; Valid documents and tickets must be presented at the ticket check, and preferential treatment will be given.
