Qingtang Village

Qingtang Village gets its name because there is a round and clear pond in the village. The village faces north and is located south. There are many rocks on the mountain behind the village, known as ‘Beiyan Mountain’. To the northeast in front of the village is Hushèng Chán Temple. The terrain is flat and open. It is an original ecological village. Within the village area, there are many cultural relics and historical sites, such as one of the main temples of Zen Buddhism with great popularity in Japan and South Korea, the ‘thousand-year-old ancient temple’, Hushèng Temple where Baizhang Huaihai opened up mountains and built his hut, and the tomb tower of Baizhang Huaihai. Open all year round and open all day.
