Le’s Ancestral Hall

Le’s Ancestral Hall is located in Hutang Village, Daqi Street, Beilun District, Ningbo City. In front of the hall stands a road, with Hutang River outside the road. Between the road and the river, two large stone tablets are erected, namely ‘The Inscription of Le’s Ancestral Hall’ and ‘The Inscription of the Ancestors of the Le Family’.

Le’s Ancestral Hall was declared a district-level cultural relics protection unit by the People’s Government of Beilun District, Ningbo, in 1991. It is one of the oldest and well-preserved ancestral halls in the Beilun area.


The Le’s Ancestral Hall in Hutang Village faces north to south, consisting of a front hall and a main hall with three rooms on each side of the corridor. It covers an area of 750 square meters and has a construction area of 560 square meters. Both the hall and the main hall are of hard mountain style with a mixed structure of beam lifting and Dou.
