Huaguoyuan Temple

The Huaguoyuan Temple was built during the Chunyou period of the Song Dynasty. It was rebuilt in 1618 (the 46th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty) and 1781 (the 46th year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty). It was renovated in 1918. Therefore, the existing building was rebuilt in 1781 (the 46th year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty).
At present, there are two theories about the origin of the Huaguoyuan Temple. According to the ‘Record of Huaguoyuan Temple’ in ‘Jieqi Pavilion Collection’, the Huaguoyuan Temple was originally built by the Shi family. The temple god is the local god in charge of the garden.
