Haichen Park is located on the west side of Zhonghe Road and on the south side of Mingzhou Road, adjacent to Zhonghe River on the west. It was established in March 1991. The park name means ‘morning of the sea’. It was designed by the Landscape Research Office of Tongji University in Shanghai. It is about 240 meters long and about 60 meters wide, with a total area of 11,322 square meters, forming a long and narrow green belt. The park has a high green coverage rate. It contains landmark buildings such as the sculpture ‘Light of Beilun’, as well as garden architectural sketches such as cafes, flower racks, flower corridors, and rest halls. The whole park is mainly landscaped with plants. Artificial brooks, waterfalls, Taihu stones, stalagmites and other decorations are dotted among them. It is a good place for citizens to take a leisure walk. The specific business hours and opening status are subject to the opening situation on that day.
