Feng Yue’s Colorful Painted Taimen is the main gate of the former residence of Feng Yue, a Minister of the Ministry of Punishments during the Ming Dynasty. It was personally bestowed and built by Emperor Shenzong in 1610. The main structure is adorned with vivid and lively patterns in various colors, exuding an antique charm and majestic presence. It is one of the well-preserved examples of Ming Dynasty’s door tower paintings and carvings in Eastern Zhejiang. Open all year round from 8:00 to 20:00
