China Xiaode Garden – Dashun Temple

The Dashun Temple began in the Xia Dynasty. It is one of the two major sacrificial temples in Zhejiang (the other is the Yu Temple in Shaoxing). It has a history of 4,000 years. It covers an area of five bays, about 23 meters wide and about 100 meters deep. It is divided into three entrances: the first entrance is the Holy Temple; the second entrance is the Taizu Temple; the third entrance is the Siyue Temple. Each entrance has a stage. Inside the mountain gate, there is a lotus pond and a stone bridge. In front of the temple, there are Shun River and Baiguan Bridge. Inside the temple, there are many couplets and poetic inscriptions.
