Fragrance Snow and Plum Blossoms Sea

The ‘Fragrance Snow and Plum Blossoms Sea’ rural leisure tourism area is located in Dongcun Village, Wangtan Town, known as the ‘Hometown of Green Plum in China’, situated in the southern part of Shaoxing County. It is bordered by Shangyu to the east and Shengzhou to the south, 35 kilometers away from the city center, with the provincial highway Shao Gan Line passing through the area.
The scenic area is planned to cover a total area of 3.4 square kilometers, consisting of five major functional zones: the entrance service area, the Fragrance Snow and Plum Blossoms Sea area, the White Crane Fairy Trace area, the mountain village style area, and the secluded valley experience area. Characterized by thousands of acres of green plum forests and natural landscapes, it is like a pearl on the natural tourism line of Shaoxing, an ideal place for enjoying flowers in spring, seeking coolness in summer, harvesting fruits in autumn, and walking in the snow in winter.

The scenic area boasts one of the largest single-piece plum gardens in the country, known as the ‘Ten Miles of Plum Corridor’. It includes various attractions such as the Hundred Plum Garden, Plum Exploration and Victory, Plum Path, Autumn Persimmon and Plum, Childhood Friends, Step-by-Step Plum Exploration, Goose Pond Fishing, Fragrance Snow Plum River, Plum Stream Barbecue, Wine and Heroes Discussion, and Ancient Wood Trace.

Every early spring in February and March, the plum blossoms all over the mountains bloom in competition, vying with the auspicious snow for beauty. The ten-mile plum garden becomes an ocean of flowers and snow, wandering among which, it feels like being in a sea of snow and waves, extremely beautiful, as if in a paradise, with a very spectacular scenery. The scenic area is open all year round, 24 hours a day.
