Convenient transportation and well-preserved sections make this a must-visit destination. Starting from Jinshan Village in Shuikou and ending at Beichuan Village in Jiapu, the entire route spans approximately 13.89 kilometers. Along the way, the gentle murmur of streams, the lush green bamboo, and the mottled stone paths tell the story of generations who transported the prestigious Zisun Gongcha along this route.

The Ancient Gongcha Tea Horse Road boasts a forest coverage rate of 93%, with the primary vegetation being Moso bamboo. To the southwest of the ancient path lies the Xiangyangtan Scenic Area, and to the northeast is the Xiangshan Scenic Area. Standing atop Mount Yao, one can gaze eastward towards the vast Taihu Lake. The area also features the ruins of the Shimen Temple, the Song and Yuan Dynasties’ ancient path at Shimen Mountain, the Monkey Stone, and the Qin Residence.
