Yingshan Temple is located at the foot of Da’an Mountain in Da’an Village, Meishan Town, about twenty kilometers northwest of Changxing County.
It was originally built during the Kai Ping period of the Later Liang Dynasty (907-911 AD), initially named Raoyi Jiao Yuan, and was renamed Yingshan Temple in 1063 AD.
