The New Fourth Army Taihu Guerrilla Detachment Memorial Hall is primarily dedicated to commemorating the ‘Chongshan Breakthrough.’ Divided into three chapters, the memorial hall utilizes display boards, images, text, and artifacts to fully showcase the twists and turns of the New Fourth Army Taihu Anti-Japanese Team during its initial establishment, reconstruction, and expansion phases.
Not only does the exhibition display the daily life items, combat tools, and correspondence used by the New Fourth Army soldiers, but it also re-creates the reed marshes, communication boats, and contact stations from the Anti-Japanese War period. These vividly depict the arduous and extraordinary anti-Japanese struggle of the guerrilla warriors, immersing visitors in the experience as if they have returned to the era of the New Fourth Army’s Chongshan resistance.

The hall is open all year round from 08:30 to 17:00.
