The former site of the New Fourth Army’s Su-Zhe Military Command is located in Huaikan Township and Baixian Township, Changxing County. It served as the location for the command and logistics support institutions of the Sixth Division, Sixteenth Brigade of the New Fourth Army, as well as the party, government, and military command organs of the New Fourth Army’s Su-Zhe Military Command during the later stages of the Anti-Japanese War.
This is one of the more complete, rich in content, and large-scale revolutionary historical sites preserved from the Anti-Japanese War period in the Jiangnan area. The site is open to the public all year round from 08:30 to 16:30.
