West Taihu Film and Television Base

The West Taihu Film and Television Base is a comprehensive facility primarily featuring Republic of China architecture and modern indoor and outdoor scenes. It has successively hosted the production and filming of more than 150 films and television series, including the TV dramas ‘The Drug Hunter’, ‘Wu Dong Qi Qian Kun’, ‘Dream Builder’, Ann Hui’s film ‘A Touch of Sin’, Li Shaohong’s film ‘Liberation’, and Gao Qunshu’s film ‘Blade’.
The West Taihu Film and Television Base also offers periodic events such as star meet-and-greets, regional intangible cultural heritage displays, and cultural and creative product exhibitions.

Opening hours are from 09:30 to 16:00 all year round. Preferential policies include: Children under 1.2 meters in height (excluding 1.2 meters) enter for free; children between 1.2 meters (inclusive) and 1.5 meters (excluding) enjoy half-price admission. Elderly individuals aged 70 and above (with valid identification) enter for free; those aged 60 (inclusive) to 70 (exclusive) enjoy half-price admission. People with disabilities (with valid identification) enter for free. Active-duty military personnel (with valid identification) enter for free.
