Five Lantern Lake is a central lake in Wuxi Nianhua Bay scenic area. In the center of the lake, a huge lotus flower floats on the water. The blooming of five petals represents the Zen meaning of Buddhism. During the day, it is surrounded by clouds and mist, like entering a fairyland. At night, accompanied by the sound of Zen music, under the illumination of colorful lights, fountains appear in circles. The lotus slowly blooms. Tourists put lotus lanterns that carry their wishes and emotions into the pool. The lotus fairy comes by boat and dances gracefully in the center of the lotus stage. With each movement, there are fountains soaring into the air and then falling into the water to become small lotus flowers. It is full of Zen meaning. Open all year round and all day.
