Taihu Fishery Port is the residential area for fishermen in Guangfu. Here, thousands of fishing boats are moored, and tens of thousands of masts stand tall. During the fishing season, fishermen hoist their sails and set out from the port, presenting a spectacular scene.
In 2005, the inaugural China (Suzhou) Taihu Fishing Festival opening ceremony was held here, condensing and recreating the fishing customs of Taihu.
