Lang Village is an administrative village under Zhangcun Town, the source of the Huangpu River. The gentle stream that runs through the entire village is an important tributary of the source of the Huangpu River and the source of the mother river of Anji, the Xitiao Stream. The ‘Fengyi Bridge’ on the stream, built during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, has a history of over a hundred years and is one of the eight ancient bridges in Anji County. Lang Village, lying at the foot of Longwang Mountain, has been known since ancient times as a ‘fortress with four barriers, a heavy town in the Southern Song Dynasty’ and ‘seven wells and one market, a brocade market in the south of the Yangtze River’ due to its location at the junction of Anji, Lin’an, and Ningguo. After more than a century of reproduction and growth, Lang Village now has more than 500 She ethnic population, making it a larger provincial ethnic village in Huzhou City. The She people call themselves ‘Shanha’, which means guests living in the mountains. The qilin and phoenix are the totems of the She ethnic group, and ‘Lei, Lan, Zhong, Pan’ are the four major surnames of the She ethnic group. Through continuous exploration, organization, application, and unremitting innovation, the national culture of Lang Village has formed its own characteristics and brand, and ‘Folk Culture Village’, ‘She Ethnic Culture Village’, and ‘Leisure Industry Strong Village’ have become the golden business cards of the most beautiful She villages. ‘She Ethnic Sacrifice, Wooden Drum Dance’ has been successfully included in the list of intangible cultural heritage in Zhejiang Province, and ‘She Ethnic Snacks’ such as black rice, glutinous rice cakes, green dumplings, zongzi, Shanha wine, and She family tofu are the inheritance of national culture. Lang Village has thus become one of the top ten tourist attractions for intangible cultural heritage in Zhejiang Province. To develop the leisure tourism industry in Lang Village, in 2019, Lang Village introduced the She Village Starry Sky Glass Rafting, starting from the top of Gao Sha Mountain and ending at Fenglin Square, with a total length of about 1500 meters and a total drop of 80-100 meters. The starry sky rafting combines the advantages of traditional rafting and rafting, upgrading and transforming the natural river without destroying the original form of high mountain canyons and natural river channels, as well as forest vegetation, through scientific and technological means, creating a safe and controllable, thrilling tourist project, which is called by the majority of tourists as ‘the roller coaster on the waves’! It is worth mentioning that the She Village Starry Sky Rafting has newly integrated starry sky elements, allowing tourists to experience the thrill of rafting while being immersed in the ocean of stars, feeling romance and warmth.
