Known as the ‘Suzhou Bird’s Nest’, the Suzhou Culture and Arts Center embodies the fusion of traditional Suzhou elements with modern architecture. It is a landmark cultural highland in Suzhou, a diversified art palace, an international exchange platform, and also the spiritual home for the people.
Suzhou Culture and Arts Center officially opened on October 1, 2007, and consists of Suzhou Grand Theater, Suzhou Culture and Arts Film City, Suzhou Culture and Arts Ballet Troupe, Suzhou Jinji Lake Art Museum, Cultural Center of the Park, Suzhou Culture and Arts Training, and Commercial Center. Suzhou Culture and Arts Center is a ‘Jiangsu Province Cultural Industry Demonstration Base’; Suzhou Grand Theater is a member of the ‘Asia Pacific Performing Arts Centers Alliance’; Suzhou Culture and Arts Film City has consistently topped the box office among Suzhou cinemas.
The center is open all year round from 09:00 to 21:00, as mentioned above, these are the opening hours for the theater ticket center. If there is a performance in the evening, the opening hours of the Culture and Arts Center will be based on the actual end time of the performance.
