Jindingzi Ancient World Site is located at the foot of Baoqing Mountain in Huaikan, Changxing County. It is a globally complete natural rock layer of the Permian and Triassic boundary section and point, preserving information about one of the largest mass extinctions in Earth’s history, which occurred 250 million years ago. It is suitable for friends interested in biology and geology, and it is also a good place to bring children to play. It is a scenic spot with few tourists, interesting, and educational.
The scenic area is not large, and it can be covered on foot, but there are also sightseeing vehicles available for transportation. The museum within the area can provide an understanding of geological structures and their changes. The earthquake and fire experience hall, as well as the 4D cinema, allow you to immerse yourself in these scenarios with strong scientific value. In addition, a high-altitude zipline and some water entertainment projects have been developed here. The zipline route passes through the Permian and Triassic faults, allowing you to overlook the lake and mountain scenery of Jindingzi from the air, which feels very different.
