Jiangsu Provincial Censor’s Office Site

The Jiangsu Provincial Censor’s Office Site is located on Daoqian Street in Suzhou. The site, originally an office for military affairs during the Ming Dynasty (from which the name ‘Daoqian Street’ is derived), consists of a complex of buildings situated to the east of Yangyang Alley, to the north of Banlian Alley, to the west of Jianjin Bridge Alley, and facing Daoqian Street to the south. It was established in the eighth year of the Yongzheng era of the Qing Dynasty. The site is open to the public from January 1st to December 31st, with full-day access.
