Baoting MaoGan Qianlong Cave

Located at the southern foot of the Wuzhi Mountain, near Ganlong Miao Village in MaoGan Township, Baoting County, Hainan, the Qianlong Cave is one of the larger karst caves discovered in Hainan Province, covering an area of 133 hectares and situated at an altitude of 500 to 700 meters. Here, the climate is spring-like all year round with beautiful scenery.

The cave stretches over 400 meters long, showcasing the extraordinary craftsmanship of nature with its peculiar shapes. The cave is divided into two levels; the upper level is a dry cave, consisting of six cave halls of various sizes, including the ‘Dragon Gate Hall’, ‘Dragon King Palace’, ‘Heavenly Palace’, and ‘Sea-Piercing Corridor’, which are strung together like beads. Inside the cave, there are mountains, and within the mountains, there are caves, creating a mysterious and extraordinary landscape. The cave halls are filled with forest-like stone pillars and colorful stone flowers. Stone stalagmites, stone towers, and stone curtains present a colorful array. ‘Dragon King Seeking Treasure’, ‘Fairy Descending to Earth’, ‘Stone Sheep Sucking Milk’, ‘Ganoderma Gem’, and other such skillful stones surpass artificial carvings. Ascending through the cave halls level by level reveals a scene of one cave after another, each with its own unique sky.

The lower level comprises corridors of varying widths. Narrow valleys, natural bridges, underground rivers, and waterfalls are interspersed throughout. Outside the cave, ancient trees reach for the sky, and rare flowers and plants, along with flowing springs and waterfalls, form an enchanting landscape. There is a fantastic and beautiful fairy bathing pool at the cave, about 2 meters deep, with clear water where fish seem to float in mid-air, which can be considered a marvel. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the daily opening conditions.
