Bianshan Mountain

Bianshan Mountain, also known asbianshan Mountain. It is located 9 kilometers northwest of Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It stands majestically on the south bank of Taihu Lake. The main peak is called Yunfengding, with an altitude of 521.5 meters. Bianshan Mountain is bounded by the watershed. The northwest belongs to Changxing County. There are many scenic spots and historical sites on Bianshan Mountain. Among them, the famous one is the anecdote about Xiang Yu. According to Records of the Historian – Biography of Xiang Yu, ‘Xiang Liang killed someone and avoided revenge with Xiang Yu in Wuzhong.’ When Xiang Yu raised troops in Jiangdong, Bianshan Mountain was the place where troops were stationed. In the ‘Stele Records’ written by Yan Zhenqing when he was the governor of Huzhou in the Tang Dynasty, there is a record of ‘Xiang Yu Temple’, and the ruins still exist. When the weather is fine, climbing Yunfeng to enjoy the scenery, you can overlook the vast Taihu Lake with a wide field of vision.
