China Wine Culture Museum

Xitang has been a wine town in history. Its wine culture is as famous as the ancient town. ‘Drinking good wine and chanting good poems’ has always been two pursuits of many ancient literati and scholars. Liu Yazi was drunk in the town many times, adding a magnificent historical color to Xitang’s wine culture. This China Wine Culture Museum in Xitang was originally a yellow wine exhibition hall. Later, it was favored by Mr. Liu Ximing, a family of winemakers. The wine culture objects collected by his generations are displayed here, greatly enriching the tracing of the origin of wine culture on the original basis and revealing the development background and profound connotations of Chinese wine culture. Since the Ming Dynasty, Xitang has begun to make wine. At first, it was called ‘Sanbai Wine’. First, the rice is white. Second, the wine is white without coloring. Third, the jars for holding wine are painted white on the outside. Among many wineries, Lu’s Winery’s ‘Plum Blossom Sanbai’ is relatively famous. Nowadays, the fragrance of wine still permeates the Wine Culture Museum. Accompanied by the ancient wine utensils displayed in the glass cabinet, the profoundness of wine culture is presented to the world today.
