Communications Museum

The Communications Museum, under the jurisdiction of the Macao Post Office, is a museum that integrates culture, science, and technology. It is a museum rich in experimental and interactive features. Opened on March 1, 2006, the museum is divided into two main exhibition areas. The first floor, dedicated to postal and philatelic exhibits, showcases collections and equipment used in the development of long-distance communication, as well as stamp treasures and postal tools closely related to the history of the Post Office. The second floor, the telecommunications exhibition area, is an extremely interactive part of the museum. In addition to displaying telecommunications equipment connected to the historical development of the Post Office, it also features a wide range of scientific exhibits themed around electromagnetism, static electricity, direct current, telegraphs, and telephones, allowing visitors to understand the development of communication media and technology with cutting-edge science. The museum is open all year round from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
