Dachen Village is located 10 kilometers northwest of Jiangshan City, at the site of the Dachen Township government. This place, with a history of 600 years, was praised by the modern renowned historian, connoisseur, calligrapher, and jurist Yu Shaosong (Yueyuan) as ‘ten miles around the mountain all pine trees, there should be no second garden in the world’. It was once famous for commerce and running schools; in recent years, it has become well-known for promoting traditional culture and being the birthplace of Chinese village songs. In November 2017, Dachen Village was awarded the title of the Fifth National Civilized Village Town. It is open all year round and available 24/7.
