Dashun Farm, established in 1998, is divided into several areas including a homestay area, planting area, family area, animal viewing area, plant viewing area, and breeding area. In November 2017, it became one of the first 61 shared farms in Hainan Province.
In 2008, the farm introduced the spring cherry blossom flagwood, which bloomed fully in 2016. In 2018, the Dashun Farm hosted the Dashun Cherry Blossom Festival in Qionghai (Tayang), Hainan, China. The festival was guided by the Qionghai Tourism Development Committee and the People’s Government of Tayang Town, Qionghai City, and co-organized by the Qionghai Tourism Association, Qionghai Catering Association, and Yushan Village Committee of Tayang Town, Qionghai City. The event attracted tourists from both within and outside the province to enjoy the cherry blossoms, adding a new highlight to the eco-agricultural tourism of ‘Pastoral City, Happy Qionghai’ and making the spring cherry blossom flagwood a variety with industry recognition and influence.
