The Dongchang Road Ferry Station operates two routes, one with air-conditioned ferries and the other with regular ferries, both leading to the same destination. This location was once one of the security checkpoints for the Shanghai World Expo and serves as a transportation hub on the Huangpu River. Historically, it was the shortcut for crossing the river from Xiao Lujiazui. Now, the introduction of air-conditioned ferries has made the harsh winters and hot summers a thing of the past. Crossing the river on a ferry with a gentle breeze inside the cabin is truly an enjoyable experience. It is open all year round from 07:30 to 21:00.
