Egret Paradise is located in Hongdoupo Village, Sanfa Township, Datong Township District, 2 kilometers north of Tuncheng Town. It is a natural landscape completely protected by villagers consciously. It is a lively ‘Egret Paradise’. Since the 1960s, egrets have settled in Hongdoupo Village and multiplied in hundreds and thousands. In order to provide more and better living and breeding conditions for egrets, people in Hongdoupo Village have planted a large number of fruit tree forests on the barren slopes around the village, turning barren hills into patches of new green and becoming a paradise for thousands of egrets to inhabit.
