Elephant Trunk Rock is a unique geological landscape located next to Shen’ao Fishing Port in Ruifang District. It has been shaped by the long-term erosion of the northeast monsoon and the battering of waves, resulting in the distinctive appearance of the rock, which resembles an elephant standing on a cliff with its trunk extended, hence the name.
