Emei Lake, situated between Huguang Village and Fuxing Village in Emei Township, Hsinchu County, is also known as ‘Dapu Reservoir’. It serves multiple purposes including irrigation, industrial water supply, and flood control. The lush vegetation along the lake’s shore, coupled with the green mountains and clear waters reflected on the lake’s surface, create a truly picturesque scene. A wooden walkway is now available by the lake, allowing visitors to stroll along the water’s edge and take in the natural beauty, which is truly refreshing to the soul. The lake is open to visitors 24 hours a day, all year round.
