Fengxian Fisherman’s Wharf

The Fisherman’s Wharf scenic area is located at longitude 121 degrees east and latitude 30 degrees north. It is at the southernmost end of Shanghai and on the north bank of Hangzhou Bay. It is known as the ‘southern gate’ of Shanghai. It is 40 kilometers away from the urban area, 30 kilometers away from Hongqiao Airport, and 50 kilometers away from Pudong Airport. The Shenfengjin Expressway directly leads to the scenic area. The transportation is very convenient and the scenery is beautiful. It integrates Jiangnan water towns, rural scenery, coastal beaches, and natural wilderness. There are tourist service centers, infirmaries, and volunteer workstations in the scenic area.
