Gongyu Scenic Area is located in the southwest, 38 kilometers away from Xianju County. It is on the edge of the Shisan Du scenic area. Together with Shenxianju, Jingxingyan, Danzhu and Shisan Du in Xianju, it is listed as one of the five major scenic areas in Xianju. It has the reputation of ‘Shangri-La in East China’. The scenic area is known for its majestic appearance. The terrain structure is in multiple stepped levels. The altitude is around 1200 meters. The entire Gongyu stands majestically, with a magnificent momentum. The cliffs are connected one after another, stretching endlessly. Each peak stands independently and forms a whole. The stone forest and cliff walls each have their own charm. The main scenic spots include: Former Residence of Ke Jiusi; Twenty-four Lang; Gongyu Cliff; Bamboo forest; Shenlong Waterfall; Double Lions Guarding the Heavenly Gate; Dragon Mother Cave; Flagpole Rock; Small Dragon Gate.
The opening hours are all year round and open all day.
