The Grand Castle of Bellinzona, also known as Castello di San Michele or Burg Uri, is one of the older medieval castles among the three in Bellinzona. The Black Tower (28 meters) and the White Tower (27 meters) overlook the old town of Bellinzona. The castle also houses an archaeological museum and an art museum. It is open all year round from 10:30 to 16:00.
