Located at the core exhibition area of the Wu Culture Expo Park in China, the Heliu City Ruins Museum is a landmark building at the birthplace of Wu culture in China. The architectural design is smooth and round, resembling a phoenix emerging from its shell, symbolizing the ‘Phoenix Nirvana’. It signifies the rebirth and resurgence of the ancient Heliu city after 2500 years.
The entire exhibition area is composed of five sections: Exploring the Ancient Wu Land, Passing on the Torch, Rites and Music of the Spring and Autumn Period, The Heroic Spirit of Heliu, and The Ancient Charm of Wu. The exhibition area showcases the historical evolution and archaeological process of the ancient Wu Kingdom and the current status of the Heliu City site protection through historical displays, cultural relics, 3D films, and multimedia interactive experiences. It highlights the spirit of King Helu of Wu, who was dedicated to governing, striving to strengthen the country, being diligent and caring for the people, and appointing the capable, recreating the splendid chapters of the Spring and Autumn Wu Kingdom.

Opening hours: Closed all day on Mondays from January 1st to December 31st; Open from 09:00 to 17:00 from Tuesday to Sunday from January 1st to December 31st; Open from 09:00 to 17:00 on New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day.
