The Institute of European Studies is a research institution within the higher education system, established on October 23, 1995, and commenced operations on February 6, 1996. The primary purpose of the institute is to foster communication and cooperation between Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, as well as to provide a platform for cultural exchanges between Central Europe and the rest of the world.
