James Shoal is a submerged reef located in the South China Sea. It is part of the Nansha Islands and consists of a group of reefs including Zengmu Reef Knoll, Baxian Ansha, and Lidi Ansha. The main reef, Zengmu Reef Knoll, is composed of two parts: the reef core and the reef flank.
