Jiangshan Peninsula

Jiangshan Peninsula is located on the shores of the Beibu Gulf in the northern part of Fangchenggang City. It is also one of the regions where coastal attractions in the Beibu Gulf are concentrated. The coastline is extensive, with peculiar rocky beaches known for their strange rocks piercing the sky, the white-sand beaches with black sand and white waves (Dapingpo), the soft-sand and clear-water Moon Bay, the tranquil and gentle White Sand Beach, the remnants of the Ho Chi Minh Trail from the Vietnam War era, and the White Dragon Fortress, known as the ‘Turtle and Snake Guarding the Waterway’, among many other tourist attractions.

Most visitors to Jiangshan Peninsula arrange a day’s visit, usually starting from Moon Bay and walking southwest along the coastline to see all the various beaches along the way. The White Wave Beach, located in the middle of the coastline, is a popular spot among several beaches where visitors can swim or rent an umbrella to quietly enjoy the seaside time. The sand here is high in titanium content, giving it a dark brown color, and the sea occasionally rolls in white waves, creating a striking black and white contrast that is very distinctive.

At the southwest end of the coastline lies the Strange Rock Beach, known for its rugged red-brown rocks, earning it the name ‘Red Cliffs on the Sea’. Many people come here to take photos. The opening hours are subject to the actual operating status on the day.
