This place was formerly the Laidong Salt Field during the Qing Dynasty
Later, it was flooded and relocated to the vicinity of Waitutou in Jiali, Tainan

In 1818 (the 23rd year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty), it was again ravaged by floods
In 1818, it was relocated here and has not been moved since
It is the first salt pan of the Beimen Salt Field and also the oldest existing salt field in Taiwan
It has a history of more than 180 years
Later, the tile salt pan presented a beautiful art like a mosaic collage
In order to continue the spirit of its salt-making industrial culture, the Yunkang South Coast National Scenic Area Administration rehabilitated the salt field, so that the special salt-drying landscape of ‘Jingzaijiao’ is still retained on the coast of Yonghua Village in Beimen
Now it has become a very characteristic tourist salt field in the Yunkang South Coast National Scenic Area
When visiting here, you can experience the fun of traditional salt drying, salt carrying, and salt harvesting
It is a deep scenic spot suitable for parent-child travel
Open all year round from 9:00 to 18:30
