Jiulongji Waterfall is located 13 kilometers southeast of Zhouning County, where the Longjiang Stream cascades down through cliffs and precipices, forming a nine-tiered waterfall group with a drop of nearly 300 meters. It is one of the more famous natural landscapes in Zhouning County, often visited by tourists from the surrounding areas during weekends to enjoy the water and get close to nature. The entire Jiulongji trail takes approximately 1-2 hours to traverse, with the scenery being even more spectacular after rain or in seasons with abundant rainfall.

The entire walking path is built along the water flow, passing through a small bamboo forest, and following wooden steps that wind downwards to the valley bottom, where the ninth-level waterfall, known as Longkou Waterfall, comes into view. Continuing forward, along the wooden walkway beside the waterfall, there is a small pavilion every so often for visitors to admire the waterfall and rest. Along the way, one can successively appreciate the different postures of each waterfall. The third and fourth waterfalls have a drop of 7 meters and a width of more than 50 meters; the fifth-level waterfall is split in half by a huge rock and is also known as the ‘Dragon’s Tooth Waterfall’. The sixth to ninth waterfalls are called the ‘Four Bend Waterfall’ or ‘Four-tiered Waterfall’, with a drop of about 60 meters, where each waterfall is connected and each level is closely linked.
