Jiulongyuan Scenic Area

Jiulongyuan Scenic Area is located in the northwest of Jiulong Lake Tourism Resort, on the southern side of Dapeng Mountain at Xiangshan, and is one of the sources of Jiulong Lake.

The first phase of the scenic area’s development covers an area of 1 square kilometer, featuring more than ten attractions including ‘one trace, two ponds, three rocks, and four waterfalls,’ and is composed of three sections: Jiulongyuan, Changshou Village, and Peacock Lake Scenic Area.

Within the area, you can find steep cliffs, peculiar rocks, bamboo forests, ancient trees, cascading waterfalls, pools and ponds, and Buddhist traces, all nestled among lush green bamboo and abundant vegetation, rich in biodiversity, making it a true paradise on earth and a haven for the soul, earning it the title of Ningbo’s ‘Shangri-La.’
